Armenia: the hidden treasure

DESCRIPTION:

Escape from Yerevan, the capital of Armenia. Through some winding mountains, less than an hour away (50km north), find yourself delighted in the small spa/ski resort town of Tsaghkadzor. Traditoinal dishes will be served up with no restraint. Theres no space for your phone left on the table and it's a good thing too: you'll either be taking pictures of the Armenian dancers performing as you eat or the kind hospitality and humour of your Armenian waiters will distract you from any thoughts of searching for the nearest wifi (trust me, you wouldn't find it anyway).

If you don't fancy learning the Armenian language basics to get by, try learning Russian basics. The Mariott is there if you opt for conventional accomdoation, otherwise try a local bed and breakfast, you wont be let down.
